It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Merritt (Niceville, Florida), born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his significant other Chocolate Lab Boomer; his parents, Ronnie Merritt (Ronnie) and Lottie Merritt (Hess) of Niceville, FL; his siblings, Clint Merritt (Kristen) of Gulf Breeze, FL and JoAnna Johnson (James) of Charlotte, NC; his nieces and nephews, Caleb, Logan Merritt, Taylor Moreau, Ayla and Dylan Johnson; and his aunts and uncles, Kay (Jim Simms), Buddy (Janice Hess), Libby (Stan Guess) and Linda (Bill Miller). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
