We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 93, Carter Tate Ross Jr. of Niceville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carter Tate is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carter Tate's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carter Tate Ross, Sr. and Ada Marie Rush Ross; and his sister Lena Jo Epesque. He is survived by: his wife Nell Dean Chapman Ross of Niceville, Florida; and his niece Sandra Kaye Gonzales of Bakersfield, California.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
