She is survived by: her parents, Donald Martin Boaz and Claudette June Claburge Boaz; her sons, Howard Covell Nichols, Jr. and Jessie Straughn (Melissa); her grandchildren, Grantt Davis Straughn, Austin Martin Straughn and Dalton James Claude Straughn; and her brothers, Donald Boaz (Joanne) and Charles Boaz.
