She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Nelson; her son Martin Nelson; and her siblings, Ronald E. Deskins, James W. Deskins and Margaret A. Wilcox.
She is survived by: her children, Marcella Carter (George), Ormond Beach, Michael Nelson, Catherine Nelson and Angela Ferguson; her grandchildren, Kale William Carter (Toni), Lindsay Renee Carter (Sean Gravel) and Daytona Beach; her siblings, Michael D. Deskins (Sherry) and Hannah Myers (Blaine); and also, Belpre and Parkersburg. She is also survived by friend and like a daughter.
