He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sturge and Frances Reay Sturge; his grandson Christopher Walker; and his brother-in-law Crist Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Sandi; his daughters, Catherine Sturge and Jennifer Walker; his grandchildren, Danielle and Sasha Walker; his siblings-in-law, Greg Hoover (Kim), Rick Hoover (Cheri), Laurie Heininger (David) and Diane Palmer; and his nieces and nephews, Leanne, Darien Hoover, Katie Falcone (Heininger), Sarah Heininger, Nathan, Nick and Heather Palmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the New Smyrna Museum of History (120 Sams Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168) or the Marine Discovery Center (520 Barracuda Blvd., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169).
