He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Douthwright; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Douthwright; and his siblings, David, Alfred Earl, Donald, Merton, John, Emma and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Douthwright (Profiglio); his children, Jean Douthwright and Michael Douthwright; and his brother Carl of Wilbraham. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grand children.
