He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Pogany and Lillian Boni Pogany of Pogy; and his significant other Doris Powell Pogany. He is survived by: his children, Dorlisa Pogany of New Smyrna Beach, David Pogany (Cherie) of New Smyrna Beach and Kevin Pogany of Edgewater; his granddaughters, Grace Pogany of New Smyrna Beach and Reba Pogany of Edgewater; his great grandchild Isabella Scullion of New Smyrna Beach; his siblings, Dennis Pogany (Eileen) of Philadelphia, PA and Arlene Varner of Sterling; and his son Marvin Sheets of Lakeland, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Pogy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
