It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Wade Simmons (New Smyrna Beach, Florida), who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Phillip leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Phillip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Simmons and Martha Talbott Simmons; and his brothers, Steven Simmons and Blake Simmons. He is survived by: his son Tyler Simmons (Alexa); his granddaughter Adaleigh; his close friend Veronica Simmons; his cousins, Melinda Sulivan Reed and Sammy Greer; and his uncles, Billy Talbott (Vicki) and Ernie Talbott.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the SNPJ Lodge 421 (421 N Samsula Dr, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168).
