We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2020, at the age of 93, James Oliver (New Smyrna Beach, Florida), born in Duck Hill, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin Oliver of Duck Hill and Zona Mae; his former wife Virginia M. Oliver (Martha S. Oliver) of Raleigh, N. C.; his son Tom Dalton (Leslie) of Debary; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Oliver of Hattiesburg.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas C. Oliver (Katie) of Newmarket, N. H., Linda South (Stephen) of Gerrads Cross, Buckinghamshire, England, Sandra Oliver of New Smyrna Beach and Phyllis Mattheson (Brian) of Deland; his grandchildren, Krista, Adam, Taylor, Nathan, Abbie, Elizabeth, Rachel, Andrew, Sarah, Natasha, Luke, Ashley and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Kai, Marlee, Maddie, James, MaryBeth, Luke, Hannah, Clara, Nora, Jonah and Emily. He is also survived by friends, some life savers being father.
