We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2019, at the age of 95, Gertrude Witzig (New Smyrna Beach, Florida), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Edith Smith (Pratt); and her siblings, Ted, Albert, Edith and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert LaCount Witzig; her siblings, Charles Smith Jr. (Maria) and Marion Solona (David); her children, Richard Witzig (Geraldine) and Wendy Langley; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Langley, Lauren Cramer (Paul), Mary Pratt (Jason) and Matthew Witzig (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Caden, Cole, Michael Tripp, Cadence, Caleb and Laurel; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Smith, Lorraine Agostino, Ginny Quinn, Debbie Bennett, Cindy Haber, Glen Smith, Greg Smith and Doug Smith. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Volusia County or the American Heart Association.
