He is survived by: his wife Denise M. Hall Ayers; his children, Dawn Marie Vyvial, Erik T. Ayers, Justin M. Ayers, Chester M. Ayers Jr., Bryon E. Ayers and Alyssa A. Pavone; and his siblings, Calvin C. Ayers Jr. (Edward Ayers) and Joyce Thomas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
