With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burt I. Bauer (New Smyrna Beach, Florida), born in Pasadena, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Albert Bauer and Audrey Bauer; his sister Barbara; and his father-in-law Andy Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bauer; his son Luke Bauer (Brittney); his grandson Archie Beau; his daughter Hannah Bauer; his granddaughter Aria Rose; his cousins, Steve Schnitker and Cheri Schnitker; his mother-in-law Joan Dyer; his sister-in-law Sharon Dyer; and his extended family, Brad, Vonda Dyer, Linda, Rick Norman, Karen, Greg Ray, Tim and Charlotte Dyer.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Settle-Wilder Funeral Home (406 S Orange St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
