She was predeceased by: her brother Allen; and her father Leo Dean. She is survived by: her mother Iva Poulin; her brother David Dean; her husband Gerald Carson; and her aunt Lorraine Byard. She is also survived by 5 children, 3 step-children, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
