It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Louis Vernola of New Port Richey, Florida, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother John Vernola. He is survived by: his wife Laura A. Vernola; his children, Michael A. Vernola (Samantha), Colleen Venola-Atkinson (Hudson) and Shannon Vernola; and his granddaughter Sawyer Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to HPH Hospice or Moffitt Cancer Center.
