He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee (Meyer); his daughter Tracie Lynn (Johnston) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Carrie Ann Hawk of Pennsylvania and Paul Johnston Starling of Florida; his great grandchildren, Mavis Jane Hawk and Thomas William Starling; and his sisters, Linda Green and Ellen Sheehan. He is also survived by family members and friends.
