He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stevens and Buna Stevens (Kelly); his siblings, Fred Stevens of New Port Richey and Ruby Shupe of Mendon, Illinois; and his granddaughter Brittney Searson.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbi; his daughters, Kimberly Searson, Kathy Stevens (Robin Massaker) of Homosassa and Kelly Shafer (John) of Waynesville; and his grandchildren, Shane Searson of Jupiter, Blake Shafer (Abigail) of Clemson and Lauren Shafer of Waynesville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Marliere Hospice House or the Alzheimer's Association.
