With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris A. Palmer of New Port Richey, Florida, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Palmer; her parents, Otto Lopshire and Daisy Lopshire (Burwell); her daughter Susan Palmer; and her sibling Lavern Lopshire.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Palmer of Salem, NH and Michael Palmer (Della) of Port Richey, FL; her grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Sean Palmer and Heather O'Leary; her great grandchildren, Brook, Evelyn, Scarlett, Jackson and Raven; and her siblings, Lester Lopshire, Ethel Parker and Elaine Rice.
Throughout her life, Doris was a very talented and creative person, she enjoyed knitting, making arts and crafts and donating them to the homeless and different Veteran organizations for people less fortunate to enjoy and use.
