With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah H Shelton of New Port Richey, Florida, born in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. David Shelton; her parents, Victor Hudson and Mary Hudson; and her sister Rebecca McCaslin. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Welch (Brett Welch), Bryan Shelton and Patrick Shelton (Jackie Shelton); her grandson Jaxston Shelton; and her siblings, Judy McCrackin, Vicki Rafferty and Ronnie Towrey.
This joint service fulfills Deborah's heartfelt wish to commemorate their lives together after David's passing during the pandemic made a public gathering impossible.
Deborah requested remembrances be in the form of donations to Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa FL or to the New Port Richey Rotary Club for either the Santa Program or the David Shelton Scholarship program for Pasco Hernando State College.
