He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bass and Armethia Bass; his in-laws, Charles and Delva Short; and his grandparents, Titus, Glendola Wiley, William and Mary Bass.
He is survived by: his wife Tena Bass; his children, Chandra Cadwallader (Allan), Elizabeth Yost (Donnie) and Stephen Bass (Jessi); his grandchildren, Ethan, Braeden, Tristen, Gavin, Abby, Lily, Eli, Wiley and James; his siblings, Sharon Kinsella (Joseph) and Buddy Bass (Trina); and his brothers-in-law, Danny Short and Chuck Short.
