He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Florek and Pauline Florek; his siblings, Joseph Jr. and Lorraine Hadley; his son Daniel (Dora); his nephew Douglas; and his grandsons, Michael (Amanda) and Brian.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Dale (Terri), Debra (Bradshaw) and David; his grandchildren, Art, Jo Ann, David, Jason, Robert, Cherie, Lori, Daniel, Desiree, Christina, Kat, Cristella, Timothy and Kyle; his nephews, Rich, Bill and Michael; and his niece Marianne. He is also survived by many great- grandchildren.
