She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McKinley Smith and Aristis Elva Nelson Smith; her husband Robert Lewis Saddler of Alderson; her son Steven Lewis Saddler; and her sisters, Joyce Harrison, Bernice Floyd, Elva Owens and Victoria Keys.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya Clark of Columbus and Cynthia Maharrey (Michael) of Tarpon Springs, Florida; her grandchildren, Robert Clark (Sherrell), David Meadows, Steffani Saddler, Darian Johnson, Sinead Maharrey and Brendan Maharrey; and her brothers, Arthur Smith Jr. (Beulah) of Nevada, James Smith of New York and Fredi Smith of California. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
