He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Claude Jones and Emma Miriam Yongue Jones; his siblings, Claude and Miriam; and his grandsons, Jason and Aaron Crawford.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Barbara Ruth Stehle and Beverly Jo Ashley; his wife Dorothy Frances Davis; his children, David Crawford (Royce), Pamela Mikles (Don), Valerie Coddington, Laurie Wickizer (Gary), Lisa Hurst (Steve) and Clark Jones (John); and his brothers, Charles (Bette) and Edward. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
