She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Nappi and Josephine Nappi (Buongiorno); her husband Clarence Simpkin (Speedy, Jr); and her brother John. She is survived by: her brothers, Frank, Martin, Alexander and Anthony Nappi; her children, Alexis Simpkin and Edith Simpkin Patrick (John Patrick); her grandchildren, Matthew Cleary, Dale Cleary (Candace Largent), Derrick Simpkin (Casey Morito) and Marc Cleary (Melissa Franco); and her great grandchildren, Alissa Cleary, Autumn Cleary, Makenzie Simpkin, Benjamin Simpkin, Grayson Simpkin and Corbin Cleary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Gulfside Regional Hospice, Inc.
