He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight L. Wilson and Dorothy H. Wilson; his siblings, Dorothy Wilson, Gilbert Wilson and Samuel Wilson; and his son Dwight Hayden Wilson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wilson; his stepchildren, Pamela Bell Civile of Neptune Beach and Charles Bell (Teresa) of Athens; his daughter-in-law Amy Colella of Bentonville; and his grandchildren, Lauren Prince (Phillip) of Tallahassee, Caitlin Mattler (Tyler) of Atlanta, Charles Bell III (Samantha) of Gainesville, Alex Wilson of Bentonville and Hunter Dorné (Kathryn) of Birmingham. He is also survived by five great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
