She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Barney and Violet Ruth Barney (Rasmussen); and her siblings, Robert Barney and Karen Buhler (Barney). She is survived by: her husband Ray Rhode; her children, Raymond (Janet), Barbara (Marty) and Kristine; her grandchildren, Raymond, Sara, Melinda (Timothy), Kathryn (Justin) and Regina (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Dakota, Michael, Sara, Zoey, Harper, Dean and Elias; and her nieces, Brenda Kay Barney-Smith (Lance) and Elizabeth Nelson (Brian).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in her honor of her memory.
