He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Sara Gibson of Washington, DC and Andrew Simpson (Amy) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Quinn Gibson and Ethan Simpson; and his sister Katherine Morrison (Richard) of Bloomfield Hills.
