It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Buckley of Naples, Florida, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Thomas Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Buckley and Ileus Buckley. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Jane Vazquez (Victor Vazquez), Jacqueline Jackson (Darvin Jackson), Thomas E. Buckley, Jr. (Ashley Buckley), Jill Coxwell (Michael Coxwell) and Blake Buckley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
