With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter Vanderveen Jr. of Naples, Florida, born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Vanderveen and Maude Milby Vanderveen; his wife Lois Lami Vanderveen; his siblings, Stewart Lee Vanderveen, Sr., Fred Vanderveen and Betty Lou Vanderveen Norris; and his nephew Michael Vanderveen (Bernadette Summers).

He is survived by: his sister LaVerne Vanderveen Giordanengo of Charleroi, PA; his children, Lynne Vanderveen of Mechanicsburg, PA, Lori Vanderveen Gunter (Jamie) of Richmond, VA and David Vanderveen (Erika) of Carmel, PA.; his grandchildren, Travis Smith (Laura) of York, PA, Ashley Gunter (Reese Irwin) of Naperville, IL, Brittni Dunklebarger, Chaun Hyson of York, PA, Chelsea Gunter Macias (Miguel) of Midlothian, VA, Kate Vanderveen, Megan Vanderveen and Samantha Vanderveen of Carmel Indiana; his great grandchildren, Caydence Hyson, Lilian Smith, Cassidy Hyson, Emilia Irwin, Camille Hyson and Luca Gunter Macias; and his nieces and nephews, S. Lee Vanderveen, Jr., Stephen Giordanengo, Fred Vanderveen, Jr., Patricia Dudas, Carol Silveira and Patty Ball.
