He is survived by: his wife Emma Grace French May; his son Oscar Johnson May, Jr. (Christy) of Atlanta, GA; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Everett May and Katie Ruth French Luttrell; his son Steve E. May (Elaine) of Naples, FL.; and his grandchildren, John May, David May of Ft Myers, FL, Stephanie Melstrom (Joe) of Roswell, GA, Kelly Smithson (John) of Dallas, TX, Nelson May (Caki) of Atlanta, GA, William May of Atlanta, GA and Simms May of Atlanta, GA..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
