He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. Pek Eng Lim; and his parents, Policarpo Lim and Cecilia Tan Lim. He is survived by: his wife Maryanne Lim; his children, Michael Lim (Sarah) and Susan Lim; his grandchild Norah Lim; and his siblings, Dr. Manuel T. Lim, Martial T. Lim, Pek Jen, Paz L. Chio, Belen L. Ang, Zenaida L. Limquiaco, Trinidad T. Lim and Therese L. Tan.
He led a brave fight of ten years to maintain his health after his Parkinson's diagnosis.
