It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ida Lovello of Naples, Florida, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her in-laws, William, Mae Lovallo, Arlene, Frank Esposito, Carmine Lovallo, Vera Mattia and Doris Lovallo.
She is survived by: her parents, Jacob Echan and Wanda Echan (Wasilewski); her daughters, Katherine Lovello MD (David Monahan MD) and Ellen Lovello; her close friend Frank Concepcion (Linda Lovello); her brother Clayton Echan (Alberta); her grandchildren, Julia Monahan and Alex Monahan (Christy); her great grandchild Adeline; and her caregivers, Nativida, Marie and Jeydi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She raised funds for various causes throughout her life including the American Cancer Society.
