He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Emma Vandiver (Wheeler) and Lloyd G. Vandiver; and his wife Pat (Strider). He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Evans (Troy) and Kimberly Wesolowski (Jon); his grandchildren, Clara, Jack, Erin McCarty, Matthew and Emma Wesolowski; and his close friend Patti Werckle.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108).
