She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Joseph Holmes Van Mater Jr. (Mary) of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Catharine Gelineau (Stephen) of Delray Beach, FL and Mark H. Van Mater (Evelinda) of Hillsdale, NJ.; her grandchildren, Megan, Joseph III, Marc, Kevin, Tyler and Trevor; and her great grandchildren, Juliet, Alexander, Peyton and Noah. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
