He is survived by: his parents, John Martel and Donna Martel; his wife Beverly Roux Martel; his stepchildren, Naomianne Maher (Michael), Cassie MacDonald and Richard MacDonald, Jr. (Marisa); his brother Scott Martel (Brenda); his niece Rebecca Martel; his sister Patricia Martel; and his nephews, Tyler and Zachary Lauzon.
