With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry Gerald Higgins of Naples, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Higgins and Catherine Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Karen Higgins of Naples, FL; his brother Brian; his sister-in-law Jane of West Brookfield, MA; his children, Sherry Britton of Harpswell, ME, Holly Rhodes (Andy) of Milford, CT and Barry Higgins Jr. (Cori) of Naples, FL; the mother of his children Denyse Higgins of Milford, CT.; his stepdaughters, Heather Dumais (Robert) of Charlton, MA, Michelle Horne (Kevin) of Southold, NY and Sarah Chase (Jeff Jarmulowicz) of Spencer, MA; and his nieces, Devon Smith (Mason) of Yardly, PA, Brenda Garacci of Lafayette, LA and Belinda Murphy of Pelham, NH. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
