She was predeceased by: her husband John V. Balian MD; her grandson Hovhannes Bush; her brother Michael Chobanian MD of Grand Rapids; and her parents, Dickran (Rose Chobanian) and Armenians.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Balian (Eric Bush), Lisa Balian (Thomas Gilbert), Laurie Balian (Frank Aiello), Michael Balian (Jacqueline Wright), Dr. Gary Balian, Christina and Mehren (Lawrence Mehren).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aj Desmond Funeral Home, Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073).
