He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bauknight and Gertrude Gill Bauknight. He is survived by: his wife Joy Strickland Bauknight; his daughter Rebecca Machovina (Jonathan); his sister Deidra DeStefano of Lake Placid, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Serenity Bauknight, Luke Doyle and Temple Bauknight.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked the contributions can be made to Tidewell Hospice or New Zion Baptist Church.
