James Gregory Deas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gregory Deas of Myakka City, Florida, born in Bradenton, Florida, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto Deas and Edith Anderson Deas; his former life partner Geraldine Jenkins Cochran; and his stepdaughter Larissa Cordell Morris. He is survived by : his granddaughter Naomi; his wife Gayle Grubb Cordell Deas of Myakka City; his siblings, Karen Deas Young of Murfreesboro, TN, Roger Deas of Cedar Key, FL and Byron Deas of Bryson City, NC; and his grandson Daniel Morris (Naomi Morris) of Ada, Ohio. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
