He is survived by: his children, Roger Bauknight (Joy) of Myakka City and Deidra DeStefano of Myakka City. He is also survived by Five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

“We want to extend our heartfelt condolence to your family. Your dad, grandad, great-grandad became my Uncle Jack when I married his nephew Andy. I enjoyed our talks but really saw his tender side after his sister Billie lost her husband. Uncle Jack reached out via phone calls and visits to see if there was anything he could do for her or just keep her company. I felt he understood the loneliness that comes after losing a loved one and sought to comfort her. He will be missed - Debra & Andy Husz”
