He is survived by: his wife Pauline Wells; his sons, Joe Wells, Jr. (Jeannie), Randy Wells and Mike Wells; his stepdaughters, Kristin White and Michele Collins; and his brother Carl M. Wells. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
