He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl DeMont and Glendolyn DeMont; his siblings, Richard, Ethel, Margorie and Clarabelle; his son-in-law Leo Roberts; his grandson Joshua Quick; and his great grandchild Kyle Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Freeda DeMont; and his daughters, Karen Quick (David), Donna Stout (David) and Janet Roberts-Mihal (Dan). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
