He was predeceased by: his parents, Celbert Farmer and Dezzie Clem Rowlette Farmer; his wife Kikuyo "Katie" O'tani; his stepfather Ben Farmer; his siblings, Irene, Mattie and Junior; and his sons, Baby Rowlette and David Wayne Rowlette.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Williams (Ron) and Bill Rowlette (Candy); his grandchildren, Summer Roth (Bill), Salena Masaood, Brittany Davis (Luke) and Tiffany Sapp (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Savannah Brannen, Khalifa, Rheem Masaood, Aiden, Kaiya Sapp, Harper, Riley Roth, Graison and Baker Davis; and his siblings, Estill Farmer (Shirley), Lennie Mae Herald (Virgil), Connie Wolfinbarger and Donna Brandenburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
