He is survived by: his wife Jeri Meeks; his children, Merry Meeks, Michelle Newton, Whitney Meeks, Danielle Meeks, David Meeks, Jr. (Kristi) and Dillon Meeks; and his stepson Justin Watson. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
