He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Turner (Dunn) and John G. Turner; and his siblings, John, Edward, Alice Pierre, Margaret Timper, Susan Taren and A. Patricia Durante.

He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Turner (Buttle); his children, Nancy A. Rofrano (Nick Ruggerio), Kathleen Ward (Joseph Dowd), Janet Turner Lieggi (Martino), Tama T. Adams (Neil), Thomas J. Turner (Anna), Joni Harkins and Richard M. Turner (Noris); and his brother Peter (Kathryn). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.
