He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Markle and Margaret Markle (Say); his significant other Patricia Garrison; and his siblings, Gertrude Davis, Rita Sue Woodworth and Richard Markle.
He is survived by: his children, Lanor Markle-Monachino (Joe) of Elba, Dana Markle (Karen) of Oakfield and Valerie Seidel (Greg) of Winter Park, Florida.; his grandchildren, John Gaylord, Kate Menas, Adam Gaylord, Samantha Markle, Catherine and Cheyenne Seidel; his siblings, Lee Markle, Eleanor Kerstetter, Reed Markle and Helen Shetler; and his sister-in-law Beverly Silker. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, Supportive Care of Orleans, Tangerine Community Church or West Barre United Methodist Church.
