He was predeceased by: his parents, Chaplain Bouterse and Virginia Bouterse. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kay Collins Bouterse; his children, Michele Hutchinson (John), Mason Bouterse (Sarah), Kara Sarvis (Tony) and Michelle Jeffries (Jason); and his siblings, Kurt Bouterse, Bill Bouterse (Susan), David Bouterse (Jeri-Lynne) and Lee Davis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
