He is survived by: his sons, James Allen Owens and Tommy Owens; his sister Tiger Harper; and his grandchildren, Craig Meggs, Thomas Brandon Owens, Seth Stephens and Matthew Ryan Owens. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
