We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2023, at the age of 91, Kathryn Darlene Fries (Mount Dora, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rainer; her son Nicholas; and her parents, Merne Strait and Helen Strait. She is survived by: her children, Annette Meeks (Mark), Michael Fries (Carole) and Loraine Macqueen (John); her daughter-in-law Nancy Fries (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Adam Fries (Lauren), Alexander Fries (Caitlin), Kathryn Zalesky (Jake), Kristine Hughes (Grant) and James Meeks; and her great grandchildren, Mia, John and Riley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
