It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane C. Dykstra of Morriston, Florida, born in Falls Church, Virginia, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Derek Dykstra and Sarah Dykstra; his mother Pamela Hart; his stepfather Bill Hart; his sister Amy Blackmon (Doug); and his granddaughter Rhylee Dykstra.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in honor of Duane be made to the Duane Dykstra gofundme account organized by the Florida Deputy Sheriff's Association. This is the only official donation site for Lt. Dykstra and family.
