With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Vernon Whidden of Moore Haven, Florida, who passed away on October 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Vernon Whidden and Nettie Whidden (Cox); his daughter Tracey Whidden; and his cousin Vance W. Whidden. He is survived by: his wife Isabell Morell; his daughter Sherrie Whidden; his grandchildren, Scott Hairston, Alan Hairston, Chase Hairston and Averi Dunavan; his great grandchildren, Colton Hairston, Sawyer Hairston, Landon Hairston and Lacey Lynn Hairston; his stepchildren, Jude Kurtz, Ian Kurtz, Martin Kurtz, Elise Kurtz, Hans Kurtz, Mudbuddy and Baby; and also Kitty Cats.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a tobacco cessation program in his name.
